
About Sarah Grudem
Sarah Grudem is a classically trained, award-winning harpist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She began her musical journey at age seven as a Suzuki harp student at MacPhail Center for Music. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Juilliard School and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.

In the Twin Cities she collaborates with choirs, orchestras, and chamber groups, such as: the Minnesota Orchestra, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, VocalEssence, the Valley Chamber Chorale, and the Oratorio Society.
Recent Performance Honors
In 2023, Sarah performed with the Hope Choir project for the American debut of Kim André Arnesen’s “The Stranger” at the Ordway. She also recently played with Andrea Bocelli at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She often plays with the Minnesota Orchestra and has been a member of the Music Saint Croix chamber ensemble for over eighteen years.
